The Beauty of Tā

At my house, our lanterns are up and my daughter won't let us eat any of the oranges offered to the "Kitchen God" for a good report to the Jade Emperor (they seem juicier when I am not allowed to eat them) as part of celebrating the Lunar New Year. It reminds me a lot of leaving cookies out for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. The smell of incense takes me back to our trips to China. Interested in hearing some more about the Lunar New Year?
